Q: Can I have insurance and still use your clinic?

While we do not accept insurance, you can still have a healthcare insurance policy to cover services that we cannot provide in our clinic. We encourage some sort of high deductible insurance policy in case of need for hospitalization, surgery, or specialist services.

Q: Why do I need to have insurance if you offer comprehensive care?

We recommend pairing your DPC plan with the High Deductible, Low Premium (HDLP) insurance plans or Medical Cost Sharing plans to help you pay for services not under DPC coverage (medication costs, hospitalization, specialty referrals, labs, imaging etc)

Q: I have an HSA Account, can i use it to pay for my membership

You may be able to use your HSA funds for membership payment/services. However,We advise that you check with your tax accountant and/or HSA Administrator for verification.

Q: Do you accept Medicare or Medicaid.

At this time, we dont accept any of the above. Pls check back with us later.

Q: How is this cheaper than my traditional office visit/routine care

As a member, You won’t have to pay a co-pay for office visits or routine physicals. Also, you’ll be able to avoid many visits altogether by sending your questions directly to us via email and text—something you won’t get from a traditional practice.

Q: How is this “DPC” different from “Concierge Care”

DPC (Direct Primary Care) is

  • Monthly membership fees paid by patients or, sometimes, the patient’s employer
  • Patient fees cover extended visits, clinical, lab and consultative services, care coordination, and comprehensive care management
  • Do not accept insurance or participate in government programs, relying solely on patient fees

Concierge Care is

  • Annual patient membership contract with negotiated fees that can be paid annually or monthly
  • Membership fees cover in-depth physical exam/screenings and intermittent in-home visits
  • May continue to accept insurance plans and government programs
  • Continue to bill patient’s insurance company for covered services in addition to membership fee
  • May seem to Cater to higher income populations due to the personalized and specificalized care.
